Alexander Redding

A. Redding’s name as a photographer can be seen on a postcard of Kippax House a guest house in New Queen Street, Scarborough.

His daughter Gertrude married Dr Irvine John Falkner on the 8 December 1934. Her father had already passed away and she was given away by her brother William and her sister Evelyn was the bridesmaid.

Kippax House is first advertised in 1923 and continues to appear in newspapers until 1933. Mrs Smith was the landlady.
