Beckett and Willis

John Beckett and George Willis began their partnership in 1863. It was relatively short lived, the partnership was dissolved by ‘mutual consent’ on 8 November 1866. It is unknown why they began the partnership, both were already established photographers and operated their own studios before, during and after they were working together. They are known for producing both portraits and views of local places.
