E. D. Ellam

E. Ellam had a studio in Huntriss Row probably from the 1880s when he was producing carte de visite portraits and taking photographs for publications, including Album of Views of Scarborough and District (The Camera Series). He is listed in Scarborough directories between 1901-1906.

Ellam took photographs of Scarborough buildings and streets which were produced on postcards by W. Mate and Sons Ltd, who were a printer and stationer based at 73 High Street, Lymington and 62 Commercial Road, Bournemouth.
