Happy Snaps Ltd

Happy Snaps operated from both Whitby and Scarborough before World War II. They were known for their walkie photographs. The owner was Felix Alven in 1926 when a photographer named Hodgson (Charles or Samuel?) aged 39 was found guilty of theft of £12 15s and the embezzlement of 2s 9d from the company. He was sentenced to six months in the ‘second division.’
